I've been with National for a little over 5 months... 3 of them being a lease driver, and here's the rundown: As a regional lease operator Southwest or West Coast. You're paid 70 percent of each load. Me being West Coast regional, I've been averaging $1100 per week take home. 100 percent fuel surcharge, that surcharge amount will always be 3cpm higher for beef loads. Stop pay is $40 per stop. For beef loads, your 1st stop is worth $50, 2nd stop is worth another $80, 3rd stop is worth another $110, 4th stop and beyond is worth $140 for each additional stop. Truck lease payment is $650 per week plus $410 more dollars for insurance, maint., ifta, performance bond, etc. You get 1 day off for every 6 days out. Orientation isn't paid, but you get a $250 bonus for completung orientation. The trucks are 2012 Kenworth T700 and 2012 Cascadias, although, they've stopped ordering the Cascadias, but you can get one if you're willing to take a former company truck or lease return. Any repairs or maint. will not come out of your settlement you will not have a negative week due to repairs. Layover and breakdown pay is $200 per day. In my experience, when my truck had a recall issue, I was issued a loaner. That's pretty much all I can think of for right now, if anyone has a question, please feel free to ask
