    Fly out there, rent a UHaul one way, drive it back. Might be the safest option.

    Flatbed/stepdeck company out of MN is hauling it for a fair rate. Everyone I know in the area spoke highly of them. Thanks for all the input.

    U-ship quotes were half the rate I'm paying but I have little faith in the brokers that troll U-ship for freight. Okay, I have little faith in most brokers anyway, being on U-Ship makes it worse.
