Flatbed Jobs?

I don't know if you consider ATS a mega carrier but imho they are the best out there.

 

What makes them the best?

 

Ability to make money is always the bottom line.

 

Yeah Cuz can't make money anywhere else

 

#### ATS.....

 

Awhile back we were going to haul a lad for ATS. Boss negotiated a better rate with a few calls back and forth then the calls stopped. He got ahold of them and was told that the rate is high enough now that they will haul it with one of their own trucks. Not cool.

 

Which one did I miss? lol. Sorry I don't pay attention to a whole hell of a lot of flatbed companies that aren't in my immediate vicinity. And him being down in OK I can't really provide much help as it's a 400 mile drive to work for Daws or Schultz...and from what I've been hearing Schultz doesn't haul much flatbed freight anymore and it would appear as though he's going out of business. Daws on the other hand still going strong.

 

Yep, had that happen before with a ld. from Tulsa. We got a better rate and waited for the sheet.
1 hour later, my office is like where is our sheet?
Oh we are putting it on one of our trks. now.. Seemed like they had a trk. get mty. and they bounced him to get the ld. when I was right in Tulsa
