Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Only slightly better, in that I'm in Midwest. Couple hundred mile run last couple of days. Though I think I can see the plan, trying to set me up for home load. Hanging around Danville KY to get something north.

 

Service Plaza MM 126 in Indiana. Relaying to Oak Creek in then picking one going to Garfield, NJ. I don't mind going to Jersey but this place is near Patterson. I hope the place I am going to is big enough to where I can sit and wait for them to come in so I don't have to deal with too much nonsense in the morning. The funny part is I got this pre plan after my FM went home and it came from whoever is in Gary until 1800.

 

STILL at Nestle. This place is awful. 2 hours just to get a dock, and another 3 to get loaded, now I have to sit here for the night. Ridiculous. All for 150 miles.. Good times..

 

Did they offer you some chocolate at least?

 

Nah I'm at Nestle water. Taking a load of water to Jersey assuming I ever get out of here.

 

The planner kept me up there doing short runs til I spoke up more than once about it then my fm got me out of there. His excuse was that at least he keeps you running but really doesn't add up miles wise and time wise for a driver. Utter bs that's there's nothing coming out of that area going else where. If Roehl offered NE pay like most carriers then ok but they don't.

 

Blue grass truck stop in Danville KY. Off us 127. Really good burgers here. To find it, for those of you that don't know. Go south on 127 past Lebanon road, (where we go to Wausau paper) to railroad crossing, immediately after rr take right, a few hundred yards up the road on the left, it's a marathon station.

On Saturday nights they have an auction next door. Interesting, tonight they have a zippo collection, and some collectible makers mark bourbon still sealed with the wax. Yes I know can't carry the bourbon in the truck, just saying what they got.
