westside transport

May I ask what are pulls on?You know we all make mistakes,I have yet to meet the perfect person.Everyboy deserves a second chance if they learned from it and I can tell you have.I truely hope westside does not do the hair test.You'll make one great driver.

They only test back 90 days on ur hair follicle. U will be fine.

 

HI!! cash21, I'm soon to be your co-worker... I guess you've been busy, no post from u in June, July. Just want to know how its going? How's the miles, are the checks looking good. I don't see employees post much good stuff about this company, just negativity. I want to make sure I'm making a good move. I suppose to start on this Monday, but if know one can tell me something good beside what I saw on You tube (Truckerchuck1), which he hasn't post anything.

 

Any update?..... how long was orientation?...... did you have to go out with a driver instructor? if so for how long?

I got approved with Westside Transport. I haven't started my orientation. I haven't set my date yet. I read about 7 bad testimonials about Westside on the Ripoff Report website.. Look at Werner. Them people have over 150 ugly testimonials against them. I am going to go with Westside. I was told that the drivers get home every weekend. A plus for me.. Company has a southest run and southeast/mid region.. only the southeast can get me home weekly. Ask a recruiter about the regions if you want to know what can be offered to get you home.
Yes I was told that the trucks are governed at 63 MPR for fuel savings and trucks have E-logs. Trucks are 10 speed manuals. I didn't ask about automatic trucks. Auto trucks are for females and you are not a female. Manual trucks are the best trucks to have. I think you will need 6 months of driving experience to get hired with Westside. Ask a recruiter and stop being nervous online.

 

I would be smart if I was you. You know your system is not clean. Sit home for 25 days. Drink water every single day and add 2 drops of bleach to a full gallon of water. Keep drinking water and just don't smoke..Don't be slow. You might get a hair test with Westside.. Too far to travel up there and you get sent home for a failed drug screen.. Just be a smart US citizen and don't smoke pot at all.. You will be ineligible from driving a class A or B vehicle for 3 years if you ever fail a DOT drug screen. Don't nobody wants to be banned from driving a class A/B vehicle for 3 years. Too much good money when driving a class A and B vehicle. Think about yourself and your family. You gots to live and eat. Think hard. Just not worth being ineligible from driving a commercial vehicle. Just don't smoke at all.

 

Trucke are mostly automatics over at Westside Transport.. The information was given to me by a truck driver who works for the company at this current time.. 85 percent auto trucks..
I like manual trucks.. Manual trucks are the best.. I guess I will have to settle for what the company have if I do get past the orientation.. Good luck to me..
