If you're not compensated well for all that dock time you need to find someone else to work for.

 

We generally still secure it, some times tarp is on it but we need to bunggie it. When you get experience flat bedding, it takes 30 min to secure most loads and 45 to secure and tarp. Norm it take 1 hour + to get loaded. (norm a wait in line).

but yea, i make way more then van drivers and drive less then they do

 

In this day an age you're not going to get rich in trucking no matter how many yrs under your belt you have.Drivers are in debt,barely keeping afloat,Now with even more stricter laws its far worse especially on the drivers.
