US550 from Montrose to Durango is a beautiful drive. Just did it recently when US160 was closed through Wolf Creek Pass due to the wildfires. Had driven it previously in a car.
US191 from Vernal north to Rock Springs, WY is great when driving through the Flaming Gorge. US163 through Monument Valley is nice (even though they 'advise' trucks to route around via US191-US160). US2 through Maine and New Hampshire.

An unsung one for me would be US90 from Van Horn all the way to Del Rio. Just love that desolation down there (especially west of US285, when a lot more traffic joins the road). US40 over Rabbit Ears Pass westbound into Steamboat Springs is another favorite.

Best part of that drive to me is Ouray to Silverton to Durango... absolutely stunning in that area.. Been years since I have been up 550 though.. it is stunning.. Co 149 from South Fork to Gunnison is outstanding too..

s, road construction, back-ups and lets not forget about the Welcome Center going north just when you cross over into CT, DOT has a very hardy welcome for all truckers and then you get up near New London, DOT just might "welcome" you again.

US 163 in southern UT (Monument Valley) during the week, outside of the summer months when it's not so jammed with tourists, for something a bit different.

Southwestern CO late September (Aspen leaves are bright Yellow) between Cortez and Ridgway is a nice drive if you're not real heavy and have the need to run through there.

For some desolation and a change you can run old US 66 between Seligman and Kingman if you have a little extra time you can afford.

I've had some great runs, like northbound US-97 through central Oregon or US-89 getting down into Logan, UT from Wyoming. But no matter where I am, it always seems that it makes it just that much better when I'm driving during The Golden Hour (The two hours after sunrise or before sunset). Heck, even the Panhandle of Texas can be beautiful at those hours.
