On top of that, if for some reason every little space is taken up, you can drop an empty at americold, and bob down to the prime lot on the Walmart dc.

Yeah, if I'm dropping an empty. I'm sure I can BT to an infinite number of places to park than the 20 miles to Shelbyville.

hell, there's a Loves and another truckstop just a few miles down the road

Oh, and I don't recommend dropping an empty at just any of our customers cause you got no place to park. You might comeback to find it loaded and waiting for someone to pick it up. Or worse, another Prime guy came looking for an empty and took yours. Believe it or not, some FM figure if you dropped it, you forgot to do the drop report, and will just reassign it to their guy without checking.

i don't even trust our customers when they tell me to drop my load and come back for my empty in the morning.

First hand experiance sitting around a bunch of loaded prime trailers waiting for the guys scheduled to pick them up come in with their empties so I can grab one and get assigmed a load.

You can get a pre plan without a trailer, you cant get the full load info sent without being hooked to a trailer in the system.
