Frontier was scrapped, they took my truck back in for the APU issue. It has a leak, it was down a half gallon, but they don't know where. They put some dye in her so if it starts leaking again, they'll know where.
Exciting day in Amherst, a helicopter flew in landed at the Frontier. Guess the governor heard how good it was.
Load isn't ready until 2200 tonight so I've had the pleasure of cat napping all day to run all night. Night time driving is the best time driving. Getting ready to fuel up at the yard and head out. Have a great weekend everyone.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Just finishing up my 34 at Whiskey Pete's Casino in NV. Nice place for a reset. Their in the process of finishing up a flying J here. Large lot for truck parking, showers etc. outlet mall and two more casinos across the street that a monorail will take you to. Heading to St Paul in the morning.
Pwish we had a Facebook page where we could share good parking places etc -
Delivering here in Wilmington, CA. Preferred Freezer is where I'm delivering, and it's probably one of the best receivers I've been to. Friendly, courteous, and the complimentary donuts and coffee don't hurt either.
Parking it after this and then off until Wednesday. SouthGate to Appleton, deliver whenever I say I'll be there, Saturday sometime probably. Officially gave my 2 weeks notice today, not sure how I feel about it yet.The Challenger Thanks this. -
Weeble where are you going if you dont mind me asking. I live in Mass and am looking for a better gig

I'm moving out to the west coast where I'll be trying out flatbed.
Off the top of my head, I don't know what your needs are as far as home time and such, but Wolding is a good place to work as well as Van Wyk out of Iowa and Holland Enterprises out of Fargo. Poly Trucking is another good one, private carrier and tough to get with, but from what I've heard it is a great place to work. Might want to check out Abilene Express too. -
Finally got some numbers together for my first year with Wolding
things to keep in mind
These numbers include
*one week of orientation and three weeks of training so no miles for one month
*wolding offers tuition reimbursement for school. I paid for school privately so I receive $200.00 per month extra directly to me
*I do not have the best dispatcher in the company but I think he does the best he can
Miles for the year.......120,720
Gross Pay.................$44,132.34
Overall I think that's pretty good for a brand new driver.briarhopper, crazw, Sojourn14 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Those are some good numbers for someone fresh out of school. I'll post my numbers when I get home in a couple of weeks to compare. I have, considered by many one of the better dispatchers in the company, so it'll be a good comparison as to how things can vary so easily. Especially since Bram stay out for similar time periods before going home.
Getting ready to carpe the diem here in Rawlins, WY. Trying to get back out to California to drop my pooch off and get rid of a lot of stuff in my truck before I turn it in. -
LOL, perhaps we have same one.
How often do you go home?
I get the tuition reimbursement too. Great info! -

That was probably me, I have a mid roof with the million mile stickers. It was a struggle climbing out of Salt Lake, wicked hot out, had to do the last bit of the climb in 6th because water temps were pushing 225. I got a little worried there when I was only about half way up.
