Very true some people just ##### at the sound of their own voice I used to tilt-ups for about six years THAT WILL MAKE A MAN OUT OF YOU!!!! Tilt-ups are the concrete warehouse where they pick the walls up with a crane for those that don't know so after doing that strapping, chaining or trapping a load shouldn't be that big of a stretch some people work for theirs and some just want to sit in a truck and just drive from point a to point b

My issue is finding a 350lbs limit ladder. I still have yet to get one like I planned, every time I go to ace or Home Depot I always forget. I need one that will support me (260lbs) plus a small tarp (60lbs)

I saw your post and I just bought a new extension ladder from Home Depot which is 3ft closed and works great. Mine is good for 300 lbs but says heah they do make one for 375lbs..

May be worth to check it out..:) They call it a Telescoping (funny) MultiLadder.

People make it sound "harder" than it really is.Can I tell ya a story? Huh?? :) OK!!:)

I long time ago;in a land far,far away (I was young) I worked in a sawmill where we broke ### 8-10 hours a day.Every Friday flatbeds would come in to get loaded, and how most would piss and moan cause they would have to throw the lumbers, cause all the loads on Friday were FAS or Select grade i.e.-the "good stuff".

Anyway if we would have time we would help them tarp and I remember thinking you lazy SOB'S...You have to work 1hr every 2-3 days tarping and you cry about it and I'm breaking my ### every hour of every day..

"That" stayed with me for a couple of years out heah and now...If I have to throw the Big Tarps more than once a week..I'm a cryin ##### too!!:biggrin_2559:

Listen I would give it a shot..Why not? You will never know unless ya try..:)

Look at it this way. Depending what u get paid for tarping, I get $40 and raise coming this month. 100 tarp lds. x 40= $4,000. And we tarp just about every load. For me it's mostly a mental battle. Got to shipper n wait,wait... bout time u get loaded ur in a hurry n tired, just want to throw securement and get the hell out of there, but there is one more thing to do... tarp. At first it can be a ##### till u get better, afterwards it ain't no big thing unless you make it. Just need to slow the racing mind and get er done and do a good job.
