you should be fine. just keep the prescription handy. if you test positive for anything you should get a call from the MRO who will ask about prescriptions send in the prescription info and as long as what you tested positive for is in the prescription med you took a passed drug screen will be sent to the company without any mention of the positive initial result.

One thing to consider is the price of these drug tests. They only test for certain things, not everything under the sun because it would be cost prohibitive. Be certain to take the bottle with you to show that it's yours. The date shouldn't be a big deal as long as it's your name on the bottle. They might not even test for it, it should be out of your system by then and if all else fails show the bottle. Taking before the school should not be a problem. Don't take any during the school though.

They stopped recording this for a drug screen a long time ago.
All clinical positives are sent to the MRO and he/she calls the individual to find out if there is a legitimate reason for the stuff.

Now the MRO has three days to do this and if he cannot get ahold of you they will call the Carrier and ask them to have you contact the MRO which does set off alarm bells at the carrier.

I've only had one situation where we got the call and the guy turned out to be negative

If it is legit they MRO will report a negative drug screen to the carrier.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I took .5 ambien on a Saturday night because I just couldn’t sleep and had to do a wiz quiz Monday morning. Nothing showed up. And I didn’t have prescription for it. Sunday night I took half of an over the counter sleep aid. They never said a thing.

china- i spoke with them and just decided to be upfront. their policy, is to have me wait 30 days and get a note from the doc saying that i wont be getting them refilled or issued a script for them, again...sigh...i wish i wouldn't have decided to take 1/2 a freaking pill...it probably wouldnt have even showed up, but what if it did, you know? better just to be upfront about it! sooo...my class/schooling is delayed until the day before my birthday!! (8/19)...
