apparently the CA trucks we ran were not legal...dont let that out. I guess just cause they didnt enforce it doesn't make it legal.

Fight it, it goes against the agreement that Nevada has with other states on interstate transport.
I am thinking that the driver smarted off OR the cop could not find anything wrong so he made up something.ewill71 Thanks this. -
Hey-What i'd do is this-Since you are out of state, call the court that you have to go through.Tell them what happened, offer to send something from Indiana i think you said(i'm on page two and the MLB All-Star Game is on)that there is only one plate issued.See if they can get it taken care of for you. It's worth a phone call i think. The answer is always no if you don't ask.Take care.Brian
I looked after i posted Missouri not Indianaewill71 Thanks this. -
Should be able to get it dismissed with a letter and / or a phone call to the prosecutor's office. I'd push for a written apology for their ignorance from law enforcement as well.

If your state gives you 2 plates with your IRP the second one ain't a spare. You better put one in front and one in back.
ewill71 Thanks this. -
I'm thinking that not a lot of states issue two plates, seeing that most of the time the rear plate isn't used but the front one is. Michigan gives me a choice for straight trucks, front or back, but they say on tractors front.
