The best way to not get all of that nasty stuff on your feet is wear shower shoes, do Lysol if you want to, and get some anti-bacterial soap and wash those little piggies at the very least once a week. I know a lot of that stuff is fungal anyways, so don't let your feet get too warm or else that's how you get Athlete's Foot.

I've only had one foot incident and that was when I broke my foot in three places and fractured the ankle too. It was cast up for about seven months. And when you're living on your own, a hard cast plus all of that gauze and crap makes it really hard to wash it... ew is right. I felt pretty ashamed but those were hard times for me. When that cast and crap came off that felt as bad as having a screwed up foot that got me there.

Have fun driver, I thought being put up in a tractor with a stranger for a while would be interesting, I can't imagine two!! Let us know how that goes and stay safe.

I'll make the best of it. I'm pretty easy to get along with. Hopefully I'll only be in training a couple months and then I'll get my partner and the rest is history.

no I don't, I don't always use my own towels. I should have clarified that a bit. I haven't used my own towels, except to dry off after getting caught in a rain shower in months. Or to put wet shoes on, or dry the dogs. I wash it after that. :biggrin_255:

never had foot fungus of any sort.

even when in Vietnam, never had it.

go bare foot as much as possible and you won't have that problem.

feet need to be tough and wearing shoes and socks soften them up, due to moisture.

I do bring lysol spray for those real bad places.

coat hangers and Fabreeze for towels in the truck works great.

Once you've seen a few of the nasty drivers out here with skin diseases or nasty diabetic sores, you'll bring your own towel.

If they used the showers they would not be so nasty

Bakeing soda, wash your feet, then rub bakeing soda on your feet. Some in your shoes helps with the smell.

I just read three to a truck. Wow! At least they aren't a mega and you won't have to wait to be unloaded. Flowers are pretty light too, but I never liked their slip seat style of teaming myself. Good luck.

What exactly is slip seat style. I've heard it before and am guessing it is basically not having your own truck or a team in my case not having our own truck?!?!
