If you own your own truck, how about Landstar for dry van? If you're curious about leasing a truck, come check out how I've been barely making it for a year and a half at JCT, lol:

We are a small company looking to start leasing trucks on with us. I want my guys to be happy and have a company where other drivers recommend coming to. So I would love to get some feedback from your guys. being realistic and not being crazy. What would be the perfect place to be, meaning what would make you happy to stay on long term?

You let drivers run how they choose, true no force dispatch. No notice for time off and no one cares if you take 8 weeks off. No obligation to any loads unless driver agreed to a certain run(s). A fair percentage. That's how F2F rolls and why I'll be with them longer term.

thats great to hear because i own a independent dispatch service for o/o that have there authority already and thats EXACTLY what i do and i was going to just continue to do it with guys that lease on with us.

I part ways with you there. I think the goal ought to be to make your operators more self reliant. Booking loads and taking on the task of negotiations is the most important part of spot rate trucking. Some say it is too much hassle and work, to those I say they ought to sell the truck. They'll never understand any lanes or rates if they're not the ones pushing on them. No-one will ever push as aggressively as number one especially when number one is content to pick, choose, and hammer upwards on every rate. This is not to say you are doing a bad thing. It's a service many drivers want and you likely do a good job providing it. I just think with a few simple time management and organizational skills that anyone could take on the task of self dispatching it really ain't so difficult that it can't be done.
