Does Maverick have a program for sleep apnea? What I mean is if during their physical if they diagnose you needing to have a sleep study done do they have a program to help you out like Crete, Roehl and some others do , or are you sent home to get one done ?

If your BMI is too high or neck size is too big they will send you for a sleep study. You will wear a machine for one night as a preliminary diagnosis. If they don't like the results you could be sent for a more in depth sleep study. All of this will be done while you are in orientation. You will NOT be sent home unless you have some other medical issue that they can't deal with while you are there.

On a side note, if you do have sleep apnea, Maverick will purchase the machine and everything you need and then do payroll deduction for a few weeks, so you're not out a ton of money at once.
Jrdude5 Thanks this. -
If you need a Cpap machine it is 27 payroll deductions of $10.

From my experience with my one and only student so far. You can pass the Mav physical but not be in good enough shape physically to do this job....just my humble opinion....so if you are sucking wind just getting into the truck, you may want to be in shape first.
