I'm looking to put on an espar heater in the fall and a rooftop a/c in the spring. I don't want to do an apu for the noise and maintenance. So I'm going to do 6 or 8 batteries (haven't decided which yet) to run everything. Theyll be split into 2 seperate banks. My question is which would be better for this set up? Dual alternators or one pumped up alternator? And with all the batteries hooked together will the added amperage effect any electronics? And where's the best place to get said items? Thank you in advance.

There are dual output alternators made for this or use a isolator.

The batterys you add MUST be wired separate from your trucks starting batterys. You will at some point drain your batterys down with the inverter, and then be left for dead, truck wont start.

Isolate your starting batteries (regular lead acid) from your accessory batteries (marine or dry cell).

You are going to give your alternator a good workout.
