I used to hang with a bad crowd and do stupidly smoked weed. But I quit almost 6 months ago and have no intention of ever doing it again. Is it wrong that I was being honest when they asked when was the last time you used drugs? I mean all the recruiter said was " thank you but we have better qualified applicants". If its hopeless somebody just let me know so I don't waste my time on something that isn't going to happen. Everybody makes mistakes
Can you be too honest?

Sometimes yes. Have you ever been arrested for smoking weed? If Not say no but keep that promise to not smoke it again.
People think oh weed no problem it a cool thing till they see how it screws your life over.. Seen it to many times..
Good luck hope you the best -
Being honest isnt always the right thing. Your gonna get about 1000x people saying not to start driving now. Cant argue with them.

Ok, I'm sure you've seen the threads here telling you to be honest when you apply at companies, but what they actually mean is, be honest about anything they can actually find (misdemeanors, felonies, accidents, etc). The next time you talk to a company, the correct answer to drug use is "Me? Never."
And before anyone else says it, make sure you know that once you start driving, your recreational drug use HAS TO END. You're drug tested pretty often, and it's just too dangerous with what you'll be driving around in/with. -
never give any more information than what is requested.
if ever asked that question again I am sure you now know how to answer it...
I have had one person ask that and my answer was
Well I was with Willie Nelson on top of the WhiteHouse and Jimmy Carter was the President at that time and the secrete service was watching out for us.

It's been 6 months ago which means you'll pass the drug test.Don't tell anymore recruiters you smoked weed.As long as it's not on your record they don't need to know anything.Otherwise you'll get turned down by every company.

Da, You have to consider this, if you have no criminal record, then why do they need this information. To "WEED" you out!!!! Quit offering negative information about yourself and stay clean...... If you didn't know your answer was negative then you have smoked to much and its time to go on disability.....

Good advice, "Don't ask, don't tell."
