What's wrong with that? As long as they're not going out, drinking that 6-pack, then driving I don't see much issue with it.

If alchohol and nicotine's a drug for man to use then I see why I could call my wife " The white girl."If I had one.Last edited: Jul 21, 2013

Some people don't want to spend the extra money. You can buy a 6-pack of bud light at the pilot for $7-8. Or go to a bar and spend $15 for a 6 pack at $2.50/beer.
I'm talking about $2.50/beer bottle. I went to a bar and they didn't have bud light on draft. So I had to buy bottles.

Well, how many 6 packs does it take to say "screw it time to go truckin'"? If the engine was stayed stuck, then fine. But anyone who has ever drank a drop knows what happens when you get the alcohol balls.

A drug is a substance which may have medicinal, intoxicating, performance enhancing or other effects when taken or put into a human body or the body of another animal and is not considered a food or exclusively a food.

It's funny, cocaine is probably safer than alcohol. You can OD on both, but alcohol withdraw can and does kill people. It is most definitely a drug.

Yeah I know what you mean. I guess I'm thinking, if you're out of hours or doing a reset and have enough sense to care about your job then you wouldn't go driving your truck. No matter how drunk you were, I used to be a corrections deputy in a county jail, my fear of being arrested keeps me from doing anything stupid while drinking. Unless I black out, but I only drink that much when I'm on home time.
I used to drink and drive as a teenager, but after getting my CDL I don't even think about it, I only drink at home when on home time since its cheaper and you don't have to worry about getting home

I'm inclined to agree with you on that part, also in the jail when drunks came in we had to keep a close eye on them when they were coming off their drunk stupor. Usually lots of water and close medical observation

If someone cant figure out that alcohol is a drug, no definition I post will convince you. You take sugar or grain, put it through a process and it becomes an intoxicant.
Just like if you take a poppy plant, put it through a process, and it becomes herion, morphine, ect
or the Coca plant, put it through a process and it becomes cocaine
sometime just using the plant intoxicates you, like marajauna, or tobaccoHeisenberg Thanks this. -
Yeah I read about this kid that was drinking about 20 beers a day, had enough of it and quit. He had a seizure 2 days in I think. Burned out his retinas and left him blind.
Alcohol is not only a drug but a serious problem when you get that deep in it.
