A set of RGN rails for the frame? Are you talking about ramps? A rail trailer? Or double framing your current truck?
Who makes RGN rails?

Think we established he wants RGN ramps....
Martin -
Martin, you have to forgive the last poster's question. I think he drives or rents from the company west of the twin cities. Haha
-
Ahh, a share cropper huh?
Ye know, that never worked on farms, so why would it work in trucking?truckon and passingthru69 Thank this. -
whatever. But I see you can't answer the question .. But you can sure make remarks. There are many companies that make ramps. It will depend on how heavy the loads going to be. Legal loads on small trailers, there isn't much ramping needed and talk to somebody that's pulling your size trailer get some pictures and go to a welding shop with the pictures, or the welder may have his own.. The bigger trailers take special steel, design and welding. If you call the trailer mfg and ask them, who they recommend. I know that Murray and Cozad build them at their factory, they cost over 6 grand. But if a small trailer, it will be greatly cheaper.

Answer what question there genius?
There are pictures of my ramps posted in this very thread, as well as others that I gave some tips on. Some have even put my name forward about making some. English a second language or something?
Bigger trailers need special steel? Really? I make my own, always have. Same materials used for all. From my 4 axle truck, to my 3 axle trucks. Mind, I can also go out and buy all my own stuff, at a dealer and everything.....
The weight that the ramps support doesnt change astronomically between pulling 6/7 axle freight and pulling 13 axle freight. If anything (depending on the type of trailer) the 13 axle freight can actually be easier on a set of ramps. Heard of landing gear? Cant remember seeing any on 2,3,4 axle RGN's.......
Yeah, I can sure make remarks, and they all come from experience in 19 different countries while running my own equipment, and never once having to flease a truck from a carrier due to bad credit etc.
Carry on if you insist. Jumping on and making yourself look both inexperienced and immature provides vast entertainment for the rest of us. May not be the case of course, I dont think I know you. But coming out with such junk will only end one way wont it? It will get thrown right back, especially as it appears your reputation precedes you to some good folks on here.
Martinpassingthru69 Thanks this. -
Ditto,
Oh and if he thinks my ramps might be junk, well they were made by that famous shop west of town there.
And gee they have held up even pulling a 13 axle setup around and schnaubles for 8 years now.
The only problem I had was making a turn and the neck of the trl. got the right ramp and it now leans a little to the right.
Also I sent pics of my setup to the poster who asked about ramps. -
Landing gear? Ok so you have a hydro neck. The 9s that I have pulled are mechanical on both the jeep and trailer. But here we go with another attempt to belittle. When's the name calling going to begin? Sorry pulling those light loads on those 16 tire nine axles, I guess doesn't match you..seeing how great you think you are.. But that's what one can do hiding behind an avatar on the computer.
-
Well my 13 axle was a mech. neck. And really there is less weight on the tractor ramps with a 13 mech. than a 2 or 3 axle mech. As the main deck is supported on the jeep allready.
The 3axle rgn. I pull now has 50% of the weight going up those ramps and they have held up.
I for one am not trying to hide behind a key board. Go to the glass house and ask about me, when I was there. Yes there might be a little bad blood over last years issue with them, but my number was 41017. Was that number for 10 years. Never had a 81 or 83 or 76 number on this trk.
So I really do know what I'm talking about.
I will try and include some so called big load pics that these ramps have hellp up to.. View attachment 51288 View attachment 51289 View attachment 51290 View attachment 51291 -
Are curently on their heavy side.If you are go ask the bald red head that sits across from the heavy haul head guy. I was on his board.
