    Yes Sir,

I check it every day and answer them as well. There are a lot more people over here though. I also have my own thread at The Pet Stop for Dog lovers/rescue drivers needed.

They are both on this site. I do not post at the Primes web site that they just started. I do not like it as well and if I was to leave here then there will not be too many that will know what they are talking about here. Everyone else has left here and I am the only one left that can help out those who have questions. Over there it is just Prime talking to Prime. It is ok but I am not really interested all that much. But if you go to the forum jump at the bottom of these pages then you can scroll to PRIME or to The Pet Stop and it will take you there.

Hey Semi....I haven't totally abandoned you guys! LOL It has been busy over there tho..... Lots of Non-Prime drivers asking questions.....and making challenges....and you know me....I'm game for answering both! :biggrin_25519: One bit of news.....Momma just upgraded to "A" seat....now if she gets too mad...she can get her own truck! LOL They've been keeping us pretty busy considering the time of year.....mostly East/West stuff.

I gotta try to get back in here more often. You guys and gals be safe! S&L

    Well hello Steve & Lo,
I posted earlier on the new driver section and was sent here by semi. Anyway, my thing is I am an experienced driver with around 10 years "class a" but local only. Im scheduled to attend Prime's orientation 2/26 in Utah. I dont have a clue what to expect. Ive spoke to my recruiter and was told that I will be put on the truck solo after orientation 2 days later. I hear and read other wise. How does it work? People ask me what I was thinking when making 85k annually delivering bread to local bk resturants (and being home every day) for otr. My answer to that: I want to see the country. I myself dont have nothing to come home to anymore so I really dont mind. I want to start out as a company driver first just to see how the game is played being green at otr and all. I know you are leasing and not company so any info you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Dude, there is only one way to answer that...GO BACK TO LOCAL! That kind of money is out here is you own your own truck and maybe a bit more but it is not worth not being at home everyday. Pray to God that you can get your job back. Wow! that was a mistake. If you want to see the country take 2 weeks off and drive your car. If you dont have anything to come home to then find something to come home to. If you run your !## off and write your logs the right way, (and that does not mean legally) then you can do about $700 average take home per week as company and about $1350-$1650 average as o/o. Your decision is based on what you want though so good luck to you bud.:biggrin_25519:
