No name calling here, must be thinking of someone who cares maybe?
Mechanical detach 9 axle trailer has less weight on the ramps, period. Want a picture?
I honestly don't care what you pull, or have pulled in the past. The pat couple of decades, running for myself most of that time with my own trailers etc showed me what i needed to know.
I have ran with a few good guys over there, and a few more super truckers that normally end up running for free with their billy big rigger 4 axles pulling 5 or 6 able freight. Don't know what side of the fence you suit on, and don't care to be honest.
Hiding behind a key board? Really? Sorry, but I've had words with a few idiots over there, face to face, when they decide to run their mouth off on the magic channel 13. I'm parked at the j in Gretna,ne if you are close by btw. We cam sit down and get coffee, or let my dog out.. Your call....my shepherds seem to have a taste for your guys for some reason,.......
Sorry to disappoint you, but arguing on the internet is like the special Olympics imho
Martinpassingthru69 Thanks this. -
Sorry but that land is to flat and to far East for me. I wouldn't know how to handle it. And they wouldn't know what to do with my trailer.

Yes, rails is what Im interested in. I got some good pictures, my brother and I are good fabricators and he is a top notch welder so we are gonna give it a go next time I get home. Ironically I just started for ats, gotta say im in my second week and ready too move on. Money is nowhere near what was discussed and they leave the better paying loads for the l/p and company trucks. Not sure where to go from here. But it seems im back at the drawing board.

You're my hero.
Oh and by the way, it's "the land is TOO flat, no "to".
How about you show us these super special ramps then bud? I just know yours must be a work of art, so maybe you can edumicate us mere paupers in how to make them right?
Martinpassingthru69 and haulhand Thank this. -
No surprise to most of us unfortunately mate. But don't stress too bad, they do the L/P trucks the same way! Quite a few have jumped ship and gone elsewhere in the past year or two.

I just drove past their yard in Waite Park. Judging by the incredible amount of empty trailers sitting there lots if guys have jumped ship.

I think if one could get all those trls. out and sell them for scrap, one could allmost retire..
-
You aren't kidding. I've seen quite a few there in the the past but nothing like today.

Told them I would give them 90 days. I keep my wod, so 90 days it is. Any suggestions on where to look and start doing research?
