I hear ya. Do what you gotta do, is just better to start without a contract.

I started with Pam through DS so I'm not knocking it, just giving other options. :)

I understand noggin. Haven't ruled out going to a local community colleges /truck schools. I live in north Carolina and some of the best schools are far from me..
As for Pam and driver solutions I still see them as s second choice along with community colleges.

Thanks for showing me other options

Well yes they would be shinier. Usually they want them for automotive loads. Numbered 113907 for example.

6 digit trailers are newest. After that, the vanguard 8xxxx were the best. The 9xxxx and 5xxxx follow

What my dispatcher always told me was that for automotive loads they had to be manufactured from a certain year up (I believe it was anything older than 10 yrs was no good) ... I missed out on a few good automotive loads because no new trailers available...

.. but when all else fails look for the shiny ones :)

I'm on an automotive load now. Hate it. Covering it for someone else. Put me back on Conway freight.
