delivered my last stop, made it around 1am to the final and got unloaded, now camping in the fred meyer lot doing a 10, I still had a few hours but im tired and my schedule is all screwed up so going to sleep before I get another load and hopefully get back on a day schedule.

pick up a tcall load going to ups in oakland ca. today by 1600. should be ther about 1400. get this load added on to next weeks pay.

Rogers, MN. Nice lite 7k load from Foley, MN to Portage, MN. Then with my hours and hometime on Monday, see what the weekend brings. They have been known to send me home 2 days early, but not this time. Will not be enough miles for payment and still get a check.

dropped this ups load at the yard in oakland. dl said to find a place to park and wait for preplan.while getting direction for the sf-oak t/s off i-880ex 36, got a load that pcks up tomorrow in crockett cafor a saturday delivery to payson ut. found the truckstop and doesn't have parking. have to park on the street. went and got some food to go, and baled. being white, don't feel safe specially after all that trayvon bs. so dought the traffic and found an offramp to park. about 10 miles from shipper. have to be ther at 0510

Side note: If you're offered a pickup at Central Island Juice in Westbury NY, don't take it unless you drive a day cab and have a 48' trailer. It's a bear getting in and out of the dock with a sleeper and a 53. If the scrap yard gate across the street is closed, you aren't doing it. -
when I was in Oakland last week I walked through the Ghetto to a mexican restaurant and got some food, the blacks were actually very nice to me and I talked with a couple for a bit, I definitely dont look like I belong in the ghetto lol.
Got a load today back in Klamath falls, OR tcalling in Salt lake, getting screwed on miles big for this one, pre plan said 655 miles and the routed miles is 792. Did a macro 22 that I will be 3 hours late from the time they gave and gave the reasons of all the extra miles plus shipper took 2.5 hours before even docking me, I ended up running out of my 14 this morning and im camped at a rest area near Parran nevada. -

Most co.s have their employees park at the end off the lot .
You didn't leave yourself any wiggle room . -
yeah maybe so, this is where the dock employees told me to park and I tried to leave room for other trucks to get by, they said this section is usually empty, common sense for the people owning the cars though is that you dont block a semi, hell he could of parked 3 spaces up next to the truck and I could of got out.
Anyway seems the planners totally ###### up my load, I started my pre trip to hit the road and get a call from the DL asking what is going on and why I cant get there on time bla bla, he said the planners showed I was out of my fuel route, late etc, I said I dont know what the hell they are smoking so I said check the messages I took the exact route they told me which he verified I did everything correct. He asked me if the route seemed strange and I said yeah but how many of the routes that swift gives do not seem strange? He laughed and agreed. They also said I shouldnt of accepted the load if I couldnt make it in time, i said check the messages since the pre plan said be there at 20:00 and when I did my loaded call bam its now 16:00, he looked and saw I was correct on that too. During the phone call I missed a call and got a voicemail from a driver saying he would be here in 1 hour to get my load and I was like wtf? So I called the DL and said they sent a driver and havent even notified me when I was about to hit the road, he didnt understand why they did this either since I would of been 1 hour ahead of the other driver....the driver got here and asked how many hours I had and I said I was about to take off with a fresh 14 and he couldnt believe they did this either. He said something about most of the planners are switching to Phoenix and they are screwing up a lot of loads and to expect it to get worse, dont know how true it is but believable considering what I just went through. DL told me to stay put and they will try to get me another load asap and I wont get a service failure since I did everything I was supposed to do.
My day started out great, first accused of being out of route and doing everything wrong to be found I was in the right, got my load taken away so lost 450 miles for today and now sitting at a rest stop near Lovelock, NV
More and more im ready to leave Swift and find something else, im just being picky where I apply to and trying to find something local. -
The preplans are getting worse hell this load I picked up at tye avernal nj terminal said call for directions because it was a difficult place to find so I called and the guy got mad and said that load was supposed to be there yesterday at 0800 not today. I said sorry I just got this load this morning at 0400 and had a delivery time of today at 0800. He was pissed. He was looking at his invoice for the shipping and he said it even says yesterday. I told him sorry but I work for swift and cant figure out what they think they are doing. I told them once they get me constant miles I would think about the lease deal but hell they are doing a bang up job a
