Need Advice about Orientaion @ Schneider
Hello Everyone ,
I'm a Rockie driver got my license a late June and I'm now at Schneider orientation . well It seems I have an issue with my double cluching and this made the trainers hold me to the next class to catch up . I'm in the third day for the 2d orientation class and it seems that trainers still not happy with my shifting skills . My Q is If they gave up of me and decide to send me back home is this means they r gonna screw me up in my future when going to apply to another company ? thanks for sharing your thoughts .

"They" aren't gonna screw it up YOU are gonna screw it up. All they can do is report you dont know how to shift. Keep practicing. Double clutching isn't hard. It's a rhythm. Clutch, neutral, clutch, shift. Do it exactly as you say it. One count for each word.

slim shady Thanks this. -
i'll be going to schneider as well...what are the classes like? and as far as my shifting goes i use the clutch to take it out of gear the i float it in gear. will they look down upon that?

During your road test they want you to double clutch just to show you know how to do it properly. After that its all on you haha
-
yes. Most companies do look down on slipping the clutch. then again some companies actually teach it also. Just depends on who the trainer is.

and if all else fails just ask for an automatic lol

true that. How many months do you have to contract with Schneider if you do their training?
