you might want to think about looking else where. but its your choice.
-
Congratulations on your CDL.

Family Dollar accounts ... usually plenty of work, plenty of city (crowded suburbs, etc.) driving and tight spots (sometimes not conducive for a newbie, others times it's just what the doctor ordered) and you WILL stay in shape. Lots of irregular hours. I know a driver who is making decent money doing them but he runs and runs and runs.

Yea that's what im looking for to stay in shape and I gotta get the experience someway right? And yea I just found out my neighbor across the street works for them and I told him I just graduated and he said to look into werner they have a family dollar account where you could be home every weeknd which I was looking for

Make sure your trainer lets you back as much as possible.I think you have to do a lot of backing from narrow streets into the parking lot because many of those stores are too small to turn around.
-
Yea, PattyJ is right on with her advice from what I heard. Lots of tight areas and plenty of backing and tight maneuvering. Get your practice while you can.
pattyj Thanks this. -
I'm thinking about going to Werner too
-
May I ask why? What is it about this company that impresses you?

the lesser of evils. There seems to be more encouraging reports than other entry level CDL A companies in and around Dallas. I am particularlly discouraged by Steven's Transport and cannot find anything more encouraging about anyone else. The reality is that I need a job and cant find anything better
