it sucks, I feel better that im not the only one getting ###### here lately, they need to get their heads straight and fix the crap. I dont understand how hard it is to setup these pre plans customer calls " Ok you want the load picked up at this address at 0600 and it needs to be 300 miles away by 15:00 the same day?" type in the numbers, plan it on a driver.

I dont have planner experience but I bet I could do a better job if I planned my own loads.

They also talk about being overbooked in areas, short on drivers yet sometimes I battle to get a load and a decent one at that? come on... I can drive 3500 miles, just give it to me sigh

Originally Winnemucca was my plan, I stayed there a couple weeks back but being my 14 was short I just couldnt do the last bit of miles. I hope they get me a load soon, maybe I will watch a movie and if they havent sent a pre plan by then I will take a nap since knowing my luck they will give me a graveyard load if they even get me one tonight.

Osseo, WI. Tried to give me a pplan today, mt 75 miles to Costco, then 171 miles to Coralville, IA, and no freight in that area to head me back home. Of course declined. Now what fun trying to get a couple of loads tomorrow out of Gary. Most of us know how they can be on a Friday. I asked for a load out of there to maybe Memphis or KC and t-call and get another t-call load from there back home. You would think that I was trying to pull their teeth.

    Gary as well.
My load this morning fell through, the customer cancelled it.
So I waited half the day for another.
This one also t-called in Gary.
Pick up at 1500, live load, and they wanted me in Gary (60 miles away) at 1700.
Someone's smoking too much of something, I think.
Turned out to be a 4 hour load time, and I got to the terminal at 2030.

I turned down 2 pplans earlier because the time was just too tight - as in impossible.
Glad I did, since this load took so long to load.

Here in Morris, IL. What a day. Did a MAC 30 and they had a load that was t-called in Gary. Going to IA. Then sent a pplan, pu in Morris, again the mt miles and take it 157 for 0900 Saturday, Milwaukee. Declined. Never took it off me. Then they backed it up with a load out of Green Bay that delivers 30 miles from my house on Sunday. Not the weekend miles that I needed or asked for. It seems that the DM can see the loads in a area and ask the planners for one of them, and then the planner says either yes or no. Well, got here to Morris, and yes, the load cancelled. Now they are trying to find another one that I can get I the morning, still go to Green Bay and get that other one. If they can not find one, then they will remove that one also. I have been around too long. Getting a load outta here on Sat, just about impossible. If it was not for me finally being on the load board now, I would be seriously thinking about cleaning out the truck this weekend. If I go to Green Bay and then home, I will have a total of 1200 ldd miles for this week, 5 days.

    Greenwood, IN at the Pilot.

I had some good miles last week - around 2500.
This week is off to a slow start.
This load picked up at 1500 on the 26th and delivers on the 28th. A whopping 350 miles.
Plus-1 had set the delivery to 0001 on the 28th, but I reset it to 0800.
I didn't want a midnight delivery, only to have to find parking at that time of night or to start running a night schedule again.

At least it got me out of Gary terminal.

And now I need to start getting back to northern CA to get my daughter back home in time for school.
Hopefully the planners will be helpful
And hopefully I won't have to go through L.A. to get there this time. But it seems the Sacramento area is rather hard to get to.
