Werner is horrible, pay sucks, not enough miles. Go with flatbed for one year to get experience then switch to van with experience. Thats what I did. TMC was a real good choice for me and I made tons of money.

I just went through school with Stevens and am out with my trainer.

As long as you are professional....in your actions, words and the way you deal with others, Stevens will treat you the same.

Stevens is a LARGE company so there are lots of rules, procedures and paperwork.

So far they have treated me right, everyone I've dealt with was courteous and professional.....yeah they have a reputation as a starter company and all the pains that go with that, but it all comes down to working. They gave me a job, are training me to do it, and paying while I do so. The least I can do is work my butt off, do what I am told, and whatever else needs doing........

Between the 2 I would say stevens for sure. Heard many horror stories about werner from friends and even my trainer at usx lol. The apu is a big plus and the T700 tractors are real nice rigs. Your first year will be stressful enough so having a nice rig to lay your head down in every night will make things easier for ya. I have also heard that stevens offers free wifi through their qualcomm unit....can anyone confirm or deny this? If its true that's another huge bonus! Free wifi can save you around $80 a month(if you went with a verizon mobile wifi card with 10 gb of data) and sometimes truck stop wifi just flat out sucks and sometimes you can't get parked close enough to the building to get a good signal. To me the wifi thing is another major bonus. If its true that is

If those were the choices, I would choose death; hands down.
You would be a lot better off in the long run.

Just because your in Dallas i'll throw ffe into the mix. Don't know much about them except there in Dallas. If I had 2 choose between the 2 I would go with stevens. thanfully I don't have to make that choice though
