Thanks driver. I noticed the ladder in your picture. Sure can be helpful! I was planning on buying one, my trailer is a bit of a pain I have no tool boxes welded on to it. Also that rack would come in hand I believe you guys call it the head deck or something ? Hang your chains ,tarps, bungees, it also protects the cab and yourself rite? Keeps the load from running into the cab. Now every time I unload I bring all my chains and bungees inside my cab, I don't want to secure it on my trailers frame, it can get stolen its very expensive

On the truck it's called a headache rack. Sometimes you'll see a similar structure on the nose of the trailer instead, then it's called a bulkhead.
And ya, those 2 rails between the other 2 and the crate don't have alot on them. Eep.keepontrucking81 Thanks this. -
Whats Eep?
You know what happend. I parked the truck at truck stop. I'm off for 2 days just gotta pik up one load tomorrow morning. I did my pre trip , and one of the rails moved forward. About 6 inches forward its passed the nose of my trailer. I told the guy how do the truckers strap these, if I should use chains, he said they don't use chains that the straps are good enough. This load is 9,586 lbs. -
I always chained and choked rail.
You must have got on the binders hard to move one though. -
Good ol' Western Tube. LBCkeepontrucking81 and Freightlinerbob Thank this. -
Straps are good enough, but you just needed something in front to block movement. I just stack my dunnage up 4 high and chain it down in front of the load...
I know it's not going to help with this load, its just to show you lol.....
keepontrucking81 Thanks this. -
you need to belly wrap those rails, chain would be best. One hard stop and they will be in your cab.
keepontrucking81 Thanks this. -
Dunnage looks like it is sticking over the rail as well.

Chains inside the cab? Wow....
You need a headache rack, as well as some boxes for the trailer. Headache rack will provide some protection, boxes for storage.
I would crack up laughing if I saw you get chains and binders from inside your cab
I have a used headache rack at home if you cant afford a new one right now.

Thanks Martin, yes I need them ASAP. Can you email me pictures? I would like to see what you have in stock
Martin I literally take my chains, rachet straps, bungees in my cab every time I'm done trucking for the day. It's such a pain, a couple of times I put my tarps in my cab as well because the area I slept in was bad neighborhood in Gary Ind. it's very frustrating , I couldn't find anything yet on line. I have a real nice tractor paid off mint condition if I continue like this , inside my cab will look like a garage
