    Nasty. Slobber, pubic hairs, B-O...ugh.

I carried two bags. My duffle with 4 pairs of jeans, a pack of socks, a pack of tees, 2 pair of gloves and my radio, road atlas and GPS. The other was my sleeping bag rolled up with a pillow and an extra blanket inside. Open up the sleeping bag and lay it all across the bunk and cover yourself with the other blanket. When you're done, roll it all up and store it on the top bunk. When you're in transition, you travel light.

I agree. Sleeping bag with a trainer, sheets in your own truck. That way you can fumigate the mattress before you put your own bedding on it. :biggrin_25514:

When I was out with my trainer I bought a $20 sleeping bag and a $3 pillow. After my time with him was done I threw the bag and pillow away. Ya don't know who or what was on that mattress before you!

If you buy sheets go for the double bed size, that way if it is too big you can tuck it under, if it is too small as in buying a twin bed size there isn't too much can be done about that. Some of the sheet sets at Walmart are like microfiber now and was up well.

Also in your own truck, I have never heard of this before, but one trucker I believe was in the great state of MN and got a violation for not having bedding on his bed, he had a sleeping bag that he used.

    another option...
one queen size flat sheet, fold in half.
either two fleece single size blanket, or go to the fabric dept abuy 2 pieces of fleece fabric. one can be heavy and one lightweight, get them 2 and one/half yards long.
Or get two flat single sheets, unless you know the mattress size, fitted sheets are a pain.
If its cold' one sheet goes on top of the blankets, sheet keeps body heat.
if hot sleeo on the blanket(s) with or without a sheet.
Sleeping bags are either too hot or too skimpy..I have 3 of the darned things.
    Good luck

You must be buying the cheapest sheets you can find. I recently bought a set of queen sheets for $75.

I've never used sheets in my career; just personal choice.
I use a super large size sleeping bag so there's plenty of room to turn over without getting wadded up in the sleeping bag. When not in the sleeper, just roll up the bag with the pillow & put it out of the way.

How does it work training with a team? Top bunk can't be used while driving and personal belongings for three sounds crowded. Sounds like more headaches than you need while training which is stressful enough already??
