    Hey there,

I'm a driver with 9 yrs experience with a large trucking company.
I'm looking for a dedicated or local run in North TX area (Dallas) with decent pay ( $50K + a year ).
Anyone knows any good companies to work for?

    Thank you

I'm almost looking for something dedicated in texas also, but I see its few and far between. The only thing I found close is cypress.com/drivers. Its flatbed work and supposedly preloaded.

Have you guys thought about running an end dump? How about a bulk cement tank???

I run for Sunset. Offices/Yards in Ft Worth, Waxahachie, Prosper.

It's slow right now...but with the weather warming up...business is going to pick up too.

    Something to think about.

If that's not you thing...there's plenty of freight outfits around here.

I came off the road in 1998 and haven't been out of the Texas and surrounding states area since then. I've made good money too. In the area you're talking about.

There's more to life than getting in the truck and being gone for weeks at a time.

in my time with Hunt, the only things i had seen come across the computer system were outside (I.E. Non-Hunt) positions.

Praxair (Requires Haz-Mat and Tanker and FLAWLESS RECORD) out of one of the suburbs of DFW

    Red Ball Oxygen

I'd skip the Hunt step and call those companies straight up.
