Staying the night at the Loves in West Memphis (30 miles west).

What a pisshole. Dirty showers, no towels, slow service, even the Chesters wasn't that good. This place is 30 miles from West Memphis, in the country( kind of), and it's still full Ghetto.

    milskired and SHC Thank this.

You sure you're not thinking of the Love's in N Little Rock?

He's in Palestine, and I don't think I've ever seen it toooo bad in the morning there?

But then again, I've never parked at either one. lol...I very RARELY park at loves. they are ALL way too small and tight.

Flying J in Cannonsburg, KY tonight .....
Loaded up my 3 Humvees in Newport News this morning. Things didn't start out so easy for the guys loading, since they forgot to set the parking break on one of the Humvees they put on the guy before me. Luckily, we had a crane nearby to lift it back on. Was pretty funny watching them get yelled at by their commander when he showed up.

Yes, Palestine. When someone fuels, they can't pull forward because if they do, the guy next to them can't pull out and the guys trying to leave get backed up. I parked there 1 time and that's all it took for me to never stop back in again.

Yea, it's a mess here. If a truck pulls far enough forward to let the next truck fuel, the truck on his right can't get out. I shouldn't fuel here just out of principle. That will teach them ;)

I forgot that I was here 2 1/2 years ago. I remembered the place after I walked in :biggrin_2552:

Now I have to make the best of things.

Its very rare but I had a bad day today. Nothing major just a bunch of little annoyances. It could have something to do with the fact I pulled my first brokered load in a month or so.:biggrin_255: oh well tomorrows another day and I'm sure will be much better.

I'm in Mason City, IA a parked at the Walmart. Heading to BW3 for some cold refreshments and food. Things are looking up!!
