$1600-$1900/wk ???...I don't think so especially on those miles that you stated..you'll be lucky to bring home $1000...I'm almost certain there are things in that lease they're not telling you about up front..

my advice to you is this...save up your $$ and buy you a truck from an outside dealer.

"Guaranteed" 2500 minimum miles a week..? Better get that signed into the contract... I'm obviously just a student, but I do know that when you lease or buy a vehicle to drive, you become your own business, and you need to have yourself set up properly for it.

I don't see how anyone could make it on $1.03/mile +fsc. .70 cents/mile empty at 6 mpg would almost eat the whole .70 cents up. All a lease program consist of is you making truck payments for the company. They bought the truck. Made their money off of it. Now they will continue to make money off of it. Plus get money back from you to lower their overall cost. Which in turn helps them be competitive and able to except lower rates.
To me it's almost like a rent a center. You go rent a $100 dollar dvd player. Pay weekly payments of $12 week for 26 weeks. You now have a $312 dollar dvd player. After the term of the contract. Your left with nothing and $212 dollars poorer.

Did you hire on at Star (Nashville)? If so, I'm looking for any info on them before apply. Thanks!
