hey smaggs. I have followed your adventures with M trucking and I have applied there for southeast regional out of Atlanta. I find this post about the APU disturbing. Could you elaborate? Would they not fix the APU? or let you idle the truck till they did fix it? You say their policy is one day only on an apu. Does that mean if they cant fix it in one day they wont fix it? What good is an apu if they wont keep it working. I don't know if they will hire me or not but I like the idea of having a working apu. Can you maybe pm me if you want to keep this off the public part of the forum. Thanks

IMO I believe it depends on the area of the country you run out of.

You should be good up there. Right at North center of the country. You could run any direction from there Chicago, St. Louis. Lots of stuff around there.

To Update.. Knight's Been Pretty Good.. Had Some Ups & Downs.. But Everyone Hates Carlisle.. To Answer That Guys Question Knight Has A Sliding Pay Scale.. I Don't Know If It's A Cat Scale Or A Portable Scale But It's Funny As Hell.. I've Been To Other Terminals & They Treat Their Drivers Like Gold.. Especially Columbus & Indianapolis.. Gulfport Treats Their Guys Like Complete #### & So Does Atlanta.. Lakeland & Kansas City Well You Can Say If You Like 300 Miles A Day Well #### There You Go.. But The Turnover Rate Is Very High In Carlisle, Chicago, Syracuse & Richmond.. Most Of The Guys End Up Going To The Refrigerated Side Out Of Columbus, Lakeland, Green Bay Or Even Memphis Then They Run Like Dogs.. But The West Coast Guys I Do Give My Respect To.. At Least There's Unity.. And Then Some.. But Knight Is Really What You Make Of It..

I Love My D.M. He Doesn't Know The 34 Hour Reset And I Think They Keep Editing My Logs So I Will Never Stop.. I Learned Some Serious Discipline Being With Knight.. I'll Tell You That Much..
