If anybody is coming to Montreal and your route includes hwy 138 over the Mercier Bridge, you might want to find an alternate route. Goes from now to middle of August.

When has there not been construction in Montreal?
-
True, but this involves completely closing one side of the bridge. When they have done construction in the past and closed down just one lane going onto the island or there has been an accident, it's usually a minimum of 1hr to get across.
They say an hour to get across but my experience would put it at at least 2 during rush hour. Even though it's vacation time it's going to suck. -
Hmmmmm.. Makes you wonder how many dollars were passed under the table to get the contract.
-
I think it was 15 that was so bad last year around the shopping centers. You go into town past the Flying J and the road there was under major construction.
Would be nice to get a bypass around the downtown. -
montreal and those bridges were the absolute worst places I've ever encountered- I honestly don t know how the locals can live with that level of congestion. its absolutely insane.
-
a 30 is the bypass but theres a toll bridge under 7 bucks for tri axle ps flying j was shutdown last year
-
Flying J built a new truck stop at Lancaster on the 401 just west of the scales. -
Closure extended to the 19th. Also, no trucks inbound between 5am and 9am M-F(rush hour)
