    A falsified log would require the intent to deceive in my opinion. My mistake was just that. A mistake, which didn't benefit me, in fact it hurt me, but since the procedure to fix requires phone calls and waiting on hold forever, I let it go.

    Pilot x 71 I-80. Headed to Gary in the morning. You guys ever notice sometimes the computer is so desperate to avoid toll roads it sends you on all kinds of crazy back road stuff? Has happened to me twice this week and made me late for appts. Keeps sending me through towns with a billion stop lights that all turn red on me, and small two lane roads all to avoid the tolls. I guess it doesn't make sense to me to save a few $$ on tolls if the route is slower and longer, but what do I know.

    KwikTrip truckstop at Tomah WI at I-94 / WI-21 intersection. Left my aluminum coil load as a relay at a drop yard we use in La Crosse WI, now bobtailing back to Marshfield to pick up another relay for delivery in the Twin Cities on Monday. Then home!

    The only way you're ever going to get the edit button back is to call in every time you need an adjustment.

    You know for absolute fact that if you're wrong by one minute in their favor they're going to come after you for it!

    You have got to stand up for yourselves because management and safety are not going to do that! If you let them get away with this you're never going to get the edit button back!

    Call in and talk to the fuel department. I always called in when I got log book eating routing that made no sense. If you can provide reasonable logic for the change they will usually work with you. The elog is tied to your wallet. If routing is eating up your elog, it's also eating your wallet.

    Was on-duty vs off for almost an hour before getting back to truck and noticing. Left message for safety & sent FM a message. About two hours later logs where corrected, which was good because 70 was down to 15 min. No questions....just fixed. Truck was parked at TS the entire time. So it can be corrected...if they want to do it.

    I don't understand why they don't just set it up so that we have an hour or two after the end of our 14 to approve the logs....seems that would cut down the abuse.

    sitting at Gary TA since yesterday noon, leave around dinner time for Fond du Lac del at 2330 tonite.

    awesome sleeping weather last nite, was good to sleep well for a change :)
