K & B is a very vindictive co... Namely Sean....he's as ignorant as they come...

he consistently harassed me about working there and continued to flood my email and I specifically told him to cease the practice...he wouldn't until I told him that if I get one more email, I'm forwarding them to my atty...it takes that kind of crap to force them to stop.

 

I did 6 months with K&B. I heard the horror stories about them having their hands in your pocket all the time. I worked for dedicated Sara Lee out of Rochelle Il. I managed to keep 95% of my $ in that time but only with much argument.
I think the thing that aggrevated me most was living so close and them trying to force me to stay in the tractor when I was almost in sight of home on my 10. They fixed that by playing "keep away"
I got out with all my final pay by reminding them of the original deal (as soon as you bring your 1st load back to Rochelle they inform you that they do not do things the same as Sioxe city where you just came from and made the deal)
Yes they do pay daily for just sitting and that $ is OK not great.
I used to tell them that at that rate I could not afford to bring my lawyer to work every day to protect my income.
How I got out almost in tact was to remind them of their obligation to pay daily if I was on schedual and available for work. They decided not to pay me for a holiday (no freight) and I was available.

 

lol they are always running ads promising 950 a week guaranteed and $350 just to show up...... if its that good why do they need to keep running ads for such a small firm

 

kb is not small.They have I think around 500 trk and 3 trls per trk.The promise of $950.00 is true with stings attached.Don't all companies keep running ad after ad?

 

Mine didn't until Road Runner bought us. Now i am starting to see them. Sigh.

K&B are Bad news. They are deceptive and are dirty. They will send you packing in a heartbeat. Beware of the orientation instructor. He is bias.They pay for your bus ticket back home but you have to demand it. BBB should shut them down.
