"58" is a driver's choice. You can go fast... up to the governed limit, or you can work on maximizing the variable fuel bonus paid weekly. One guy mentioned getting 6-cpm on top of his regular pay recently. With the new company pay increase, Prime will be starting folks at 42-cpm after training.

All company drivers at Prime earn a weeks paid vacation every 125,000 miles.

That's why you're encouraged to contact your FM regularly concerning your training and trainer, and why there's a post-training evaluation that you get to fill out. Not everyone is meant to teach, and evidently you got a bad one.

How many folks want to bet that post count doesn't get beyond "1"?

    $lim Thanks this.

I'm @ CRST training in Cedar Rapids right now. There are ZERO up front costs and they reimburse you for your permit fee and your CDL fee. And every morning from 530-630am they serve breakfast. Not bad so far and we only have to stay on for 8 months.

there is a recent thread about a prime driver with 3 month experience who got lost and trying to get back on track safely hung up his gear in a bad spot on the road. LOL Prime wants to shaft him with the $450 tow bill. Whats next with Prime?? Company Drivers paying for late fees on loads, paying for fuel costs for being out of route, and paying equipment detetion fees for mismanagement of equipment when they inadvertently oversleep on a ten hour break?

CRST scares the bejesus out of me... I've heard and seen way to much.

go with Celadon or another...too much bad info on Prime and CRST...or take the crap shoot. just my two cents.
