I work in a factory. The air is oily, the noise very loud. Bathrooms aren't always clean. Co-workers can really get on your nerves at times. Contract employees moving in at a lower pay scale. Standing on a concrete floor 10 to 12 hrs a day. When things get slow your cut back to a 30hr week. So besides the driving part. From what I've being reading, it's all the same, just a different channel. Now who's got the remote, I'm ready to change channels......lol

I dont consider it exaggerated at all, in fact is worst than we see, we're just used to the crap.
2nd, true saying.. "trucking ain't for sissies"

I would too.. but having seen the earning potential, and given the years I've personally invested and lost in it, I get back on the horse and shoot for the stars. .

Grass will always be greener on the other side. My cousin has a PhD in thermo-fluids (liquid engineer) he makes a ton of money to look over sheets of numbers in an ergonomically air conditioned office at 28 and hes going to quit cause of this that and the other reason to go to culinary school. Were all worker bees unless your in the 1% were designed to keep the hive alive. Find some pride in that and your discomforts will turn into badges. Don't go looking for the easy way out cause there is none. Life isnt about love or money its about back fusions and the paycheck to raise more worker bees. Welcome to the peasant class enjoy your stay
