When I was there a couple of years ago it was Max, Terry and I forget the her name. I drove the shuttle for a couple of weeks so I dealt with them along with Randall and a few others. Max was the best counselor they had. And Randall was actually pretty cool once you got to know him.

So after 10 days at home... court date, Dentist, and then Med Hold... I hit the road on Friday and dead headed to Smithfield VA to pick up a load. Since I left Elkton MD on Friday, I have driven 1711 miles including 667 today. Not bad for a 62 mph truck and including a live load, plus being stuck in a construction zone for 30minutes yesterday because of an accident. 260 more miles for 6am delivery, have to leave around 0030... now I just need to get back to day shift.

not bad, himself hasnt had a decent mileage week in a month of sundays, and keeps getting loads with so much time on them for so little miles my daughter could haul it in her ford fiesta and make otd.
seriously, who needs 5 days on an 800 mile load?

I feel your pain. run the crap out of it. get it there 3 days early and try and get them to take it. Or try and get a repower. But run it hard like its late. Run all loads like that. Stay ahead, communicate!! They will see that you run hard and give you better loads.

That is great advice Clegg is giving. As they grow to trust you the miles will come.

Terry was my counselor too. When I actually called in once for the "I am okay and not crying myself to sleep" talk during training, his phone redirected to a cruise ship vacation hotline... Lol.

Gotta love it... Smithfield load, critical customer, do not be late, send macro 8 as you know you can't make it, getbQC Message on Friday asking if I can make it... bust butt, run overnights get here with 25 minutes to spare feeling quite proud of myself... 6 hrs later the Mexican Truck finally shows up. I guess he had a different appt time?
