Hey guys. I've installed a few of these kits now. All it is is a replacement bushing for the shaft behind where the position sensor mounts. The bushing gets worn out and due to the small amount of extra "slop", the position sensor reports a reading to the ecu that the ecu doesn't like. Common failure. The green dots on the newer actuators indicate that they have the newer style motors.

I've only fitted the kit on volvo units. On a volvo, as long as you're not too large a guy, can be done without dismounting the XY from the transmission. Takes less than an hour.

    Helowrenchturn2 Thanks this.
