Sounds like you have a dispatcher that really wants to keep you under him. I feel your pain because I have seen that with companies that I have been with in the past. Sounds like you are an asset to him and he doesn't want to loose you to any other divisions or other runs. I'm going to inbox you the dude you need to talk to. Bob Mefford. I don't ever really hear of anyone going thru what your going thru. You just need to talk to the right people. #### go to Jack if you having problems. Trust me, they'll fix your situation rather than loose you. Just quit talking to your guy. He's purposly not giving you options because he doesn't want to loose you. I requested an app today. I was reading a CL ad for Tulsa area, and it says the company needs drivers in the OK/TX area. True or not true? I live in southern OK (about 3 hrs from Dallas).

I read the first thread about Sharkey and wasn't impressed, but then read all of short cuts praises and it evens out. I have military experience and in cdl school now, grad later this month. I am looking to start working just as soon as I graduate. Any additional info would help.

 

Yes we just started running lanes to Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, and SC, NC. So it would make since if you seen an ad in your area. The lane to Dallas, TX would pass right thru your area. I know we have tuition reimbursement. But I couldn't tell you about requirements on students. Taking students is a new program and some drivers were asked to volunteer to train, but I've yet to meet a student or someone who is training one. I'm not saying that we don't take students, I just haven't ran into anyone yet. I know we do get our military experience counted as civilian experience. I was 88M and got that counted towards my pay!
