I only pulled one reefer, only difference is that you are supposed to stop every 3 hours and check the unit and do a mac 16? I think it was

The whole grand plan I plan on pulling reefer down the road and reefer you kinda got both worlds. If you are running a reefer load to a area and there is no reefer freight leaving. you now have a dry van. It opens up more possibilities

With a reefer you’ll be sitting longer at the receivers dock waiting to be unloaded. Oh, and the noise and vibration from the reefer unit can sometimes drive you crazy. More points on your Pilot-J card filling the reefer tank. I don’t know about dry van but some of the places I had to deliver to were never made for a 53’ van with a sleeper cab truck. Have Fun.

& then the shipper refuses to load you because the reefer limits how much weight that can be loaded in trailer. Not to mention TRL washouts.... I started w/ reefer, and I wouldnt go back. picking up a bad reefer trl at a meet house after sitting for a day is a PITA

your in trouble then. A reefer on start/stop will shake your truck like someone climbing up on the cat walk at start up.
