all eelogs. only time we do paper is if qc is down. when you are with your trainer, you'll do paperlogs to show you know how. but once on your own elogs. i don't team so someone else can chime in. i can hardly stand myself, let alone someone else in the truck

 

got a message over qc stating that swift purchase central refridgerated.

 

finlly got out of sumner terminal. p/u in toppenish wa. at 08/07 0730 and deliver to layton or. 08/08 0830. since p/u is 170 miles away, decided to leave today and get closer. was heading to a chevron off i-82 ex 58 but saw gearjammer t/s in union gap. so i pulled in here for my 10.about 17 miles from the place. lucky i left when i did cause snoqualmie pass on i-90 gonna be closed when they blast at 7pm tonite. signs said to expect 2 hrs delay. they were already doing rolling blocks on westbound side when i got thru.

 

yeah saw that message but I was under the impression they owned central for awhile but under his daughters name, could of beena rumor I dont know

So today was fun, finished helping with the elephant hauling, we got to the rail yard and pulled in a curvy long road to find we couldnt get our uturn at the end like before since they moved trains into the way so then we had to back out half way where there was a small area then do a several point turn and then back right back up to the train again, it took us about 45 minutes to do this with 3 trucks and was pretty fun....not..., got police escorted several miles through downtown San Diego getting to run every red light, there were like 50 police officers in cars and motorcycles flying past us to keep the next streets blocked. Anyway finally got done at almost 11 and they removed my load going home stating it was because I was late picking up....got another load but now it doesnt pick up until tomorrow and delivers thursday morning in Shafter the same exact place. The guy who got me the original load as a return favor flew in from several states and I just met him. He flew in since the driver leader I have been working along side with has been having issues with the other driver leader with a power trip ego which I witnessed some of it so the guy flew in just to get with them and discuss the matter. He is a senior supervisor driver manager from what I was told so guess he is a huge thing. He wanted to meet me since im still around and shook my hand and thanked me for all the work and said he was going to get to the bottom of why they removed that load he gave me since it was preloaded with a 24 hour drop and that he was going to get me paid for the work I have done plus the sitting they just made me do. He wasnt too happy they did that since he personally committed me to that load. They didnt even give me a removal message either, I called my DL and he didnt even know I had a load and had to look into it, then he messages me on QC they removed because I would of been late.... If it wasnt for the home time issues I would jump to go work with this guy on tours but they dont go home except 4+ months. Either way was a great networking opportunity.
The driver leader I have been helping said its salary paid and he mostly sits, spends a couple days a week moving trailers and stuff and then nothing, Sunday we moved the circus and then this morning moved the elephants and now he will sit doing nothing until this next Sunday and do it all again.

 

lolz.....I can respect that.....but thankz 4 the headz up on that dptrucker but that's often when the qc do goes down
