    Why get a loan??'when you can sign up get hired they pay and u work there for 6 months to a yyears our hustlin backwards

    Most instructors would rather teach someone who has never driven a manual before since, they have no bad habits to break. I went through the same school in the early 90's but it was Tri-State semi driver training at the time.

    Good luck to you guys starting up. The route/s you have chosen with the community colleges are the best routes nowadays. It not only gives you a much better learning experience , but more one one one with instructors , and most times they have better equipment also. The fact that you won't be tied /locked into a contract with a company for the repayment of a loan is good too , it will give you much more flexibility to choose an employer after you finish. Good Luck
