How to go about finding a small fleet to work for.

They say if I would have been in my mirrors every 3 seconds like I was supposed to then I would have been able to avoid the impact. But I seem the truck and stopped immediately. He kept coming and hit me. It's been a few days now and I am still sitting in North Carolina. I'm not sure when they will let me get another load and go again but I'm going stir crazy sitting here. I was told by my last mentor I need to appeal this. And I intend too as soon as I can get back to the terminal.

 

Oh yeah the no off duty driving is referring to your truck or any other commercial vehicle. And that is one thing that irritates me. If you are stuck with a 34 hour restart and there's no walking distance food or restrooms your screwed. I even went as far as calling dispatch one day to clarify this. I asked if there was any way possible or me to move the truck without starting my time and she said no. The truck has to be parked for full 34 hours or if you are on a 10 hr break it has to remain parked the full 10 hrs.

 

I wonder if maybe they have an opening. How could I contact them? Thanks for that heads up!
