Rand Mcnally TND 720 Please post experiences

Its nice to know someone from rand is listening, its the one i want to get, seams most people prefer them.

 

Route 50, in Ballston Spa, NY. They claim that 53' trailers are not allowed. The shipper in Saratoga Springs, NY told me that the local police are waging war with the companies in the area, and that there is only one route that they want trucks to follow. There are no restriction signs along the route, and no atlas shows it as a restricted route. The ticket are 200-500 plus 93 court fee. The TND 720 took me along this route as well as another heading west from the area that they will also ticket you for using according to a note posted at the shipper describing a visit from the NY State Police.

This needs to be researched and fixed!
