Im on that Kmart/Sears Dedicated one of the most ####tiest when it comes to pay. But it's decent hometime so can't complain.

 

They never asked, but my pplan after home time in Sacramento was to the Walmart DC in Red Bluff.
Waited a couple hours there and got a short load to Anderson, about 25 miles away, 'to break me in'.
Got back and waited another couple hours and got a load to Sparks, NV.
And I guess they need help up there now, because I was told I'd be headed to that DC next.

 

I have done a couple Walmart DC runs and also Target DC but never had anything come of them yet

 

Next time you are at a dc that has the swift office just go in and ask if they need surge drivers.

 

I havent gone in to an office yet, only office I have gone into was a Home Depot DC which had a Swift kiosk but that was a couple months ago, these other dc's I have been just going to drive up windows.

 

I got to the Walmart DC in Sparks, NV, and got a shock.

Instead of seeing a Swift presence, it was England.
I was the only Swifty on the lot!

 

yeah the one I went to in Wyoming had a lot of CRE trucks

 

I dropped at the walmart dc in London ky yesterday and it was Schneider there and I was the only swift there. On a positive note they actually had empty swift trailers which is unusual for walmart.

 

the walmart I went to in Wyoming had MT's too but thats what I was sent to get, they bobtailed me from Denver just to get an MT and take it back to Golden to Miller, Walmart wanted the MT's gone...

They also had a bobtail parking section that said CRE trucks only, I parked right next to their dock...
