they offered me a load close to 10:30, I was already falling asleep and going to bed, looked at the text and saw it was to be picked up in a hour from the time in Wheeler Ridge, I declined offer stating a time I could pick it up after getting a few hours sleep but it had additional stops so alt ETA was a no go...so I just outright declined it and said I was in bed and I was awake at 6am waiting on a load all day.
What irritates me on this preplan it showed pickup from 8/09/13 at 9am to 8/10/13 23:30, they could of offered me this early in the morning and everything would of been great, heck even halfway through the day but right at the time im going to bed...
I was just too tired to go out and do an overnight run at the last minute, i dont know about others but I have to plan for graveyard runs getting some day sleep or at least a decent nap before heading out.
Good night from...

no idea, I am set to available though in which home time your not available...
My home time is going to be based on how much money I make in the next couple weeks, I hope to be off for my anniversary but will see. My wife says she understands either way but I know she has been working very hard on some project for over a month doing trading and bartering. She just left to drive over a hour away to do another trade and I have no clue what she is up to, I will appreciate whatever she is doing just because of the work she is putting into it and I have never had a woman go out of her way to do something for me like this woman has time after time again.
I am still in debt to her for taking care of me when I was out on disability for months due to an injured back, we werent even married and she stuck by me and took very good care of me. You better believe I eventually married her...scottied67 and dptrucker Thank this. -

After sitting in a Walmart parking lot for over 48 hours I now understand why trucks are not welcome. Even though there are trash cans about 100 feet from where about 15 trucks are parked, there are 4 shopping carts heaped full of trash just in front of my truck. I count 7 piss bottles on the ground between here and the front door of the store. All of this is just from last night til now, the cleaning crew hauled off yesterday's trash last night about 7. Pathetic

WACO, TX. What a day of traffic. Stopped at the new Peelot in Kaddo, Ar, ex 78 off I-30, and not a bad place. They actually have a nice deli/hot food bar. Today saw meat loaf, broasted chicken, wings and lots of other, plus the hot dogs and pizza. Tomorrow morning should be fun. Was just looking at delivery place on google earth, and it is a old hotel that is being converted, no docks and dirt lot from what I can tell. Mac 30, nothing, and already bumping the 70. Will have 5 when done tomorrow morning and will start to pu hours on Tuesday morning. Did a MAC 30, and was offered one load. PU 1800 about 60 miles away. The only problem there, my clock starts at 0500. Plus a live load, and then del 400 miles at 2000 Tuesday. Not going to sit on a 400 mile 2 day load.

gas station might be your only bet then, sandwich or hot dogs most likely if you have stuff.
