I love my scangauge. its already saved me hundreds by showing me how much worse my fuel economy was at the higher speeds i was running.

You couldn't figure out on your own that if you lifted your right foot and slowed down it would save you money???? Wow........

I went to their website and looked at the scangauge. It looks a little 1990's to me. And if I bought one I would have to scrape KR's signature off of it.

It is more than just slowing down. You watch and pay attention to it and slower ( to a point) may not be better. You can figure out your best range to run for that particular load on that particular piece of terrain. I am bumping 7 for my 30 day average running a 379 w/3406e pulling oversize steel and pipe loads 75 to 80 lbs. Before I got the scan gauge best I got was 6.5-6.6. It isn't snake oil. It will only tell you what the truck is doing. As BBB said about it's readings not being correct I saw while strolling through that it had a place to fine tune it. Mine reads about 2/10s lower than what I actually get when I put pen to paper. I have been happy with mine and over the past month it has provided me the info I needed to pay for itself. If your not going to adjust your driving then it will not help you unless you just want it for the gauges.

Have you seen some of the drivers or heard them on the radio. I think a monkey could do better than some. Metaphorically speaking. He did say driving and delivering. Not running a successful trucking business.

From drivers I talked to that have the scan gauge KR, it does everything the Bully Dog Watch Dog does with exception to the speed limiter and gearmaster software. The Scan gauge KR is less than $200 compared to the Bully Dog Watch Dog that I paid over $900 for at the MATS in 2012 before the Scan Gauge KR came out. Of course I can always upgrade my Bully Dog WD to a tuner if I choose.

Looks like a good deal that will help coach you from bad driving habits to payback the cost of the Scan Gauge KR very fast.
