I don't need to. They claim it produces turbulent flow that will allow a better mix of fuel. A tube with some ridges in it? Snake oil.

That so called turbulent flow it produces won't continue into the cylinder, and their only testing is one engine with a gain of 4 to 6 HP... easily in the margin of error on a dyno. Big Whoop! If it is worth anything, they'd submit it to testing by SAE. They won't because it doesn't work.

One thing you should understand is there are plenty of con artists who will sell you anything and everything to improve the performance of a truck... whether it does or it doesn't.

think, scams. and how easily people get ripped off today. because they are so gullible.

there are many products that make the claim you are looking at. i don't think any of them were actually tested and approved by the govt. other then whatever red tape needed to sell the product.

Have friends who tried it with no results and if I seen enough evidence it worked, it would be on my truck already.

air cells remind me of a product I hear advertised on the radio for four wheelers. the power of platinum! just clipping this product on your fuel line infuses the gas in the vehicle with the power of platinum, increasing fuel mileage by 50 percent and doubling horsepower. I'm not a believer in big government regulationon the free market, but these type of so called fuel saving devices make ya wonder if it might be worth it.
does any one remember those stickers you put on the side of your tanks that claimed to harness the power of the Sun?

On a naturally aspirated gas engine this product will have some effect when installed between the carb and intake. But on a diesel engine where the fuel is injected at a specific time directly into the cylinder while also being atomized in a spray pattern this product will only restrict your intake system flow. Also figure into the equation that the intake air is also pressurized the majority of the time. That alone would make swirling the air close to impossible.

With all that being said...my brother helps out working on my truck. He thought the product could work and installed it as a "surprise present" without my knowledge. For about 3 weeks I was chasing a MPG drop that had me pulling my hair out. Finally I said something to time while I was home and he mentioned installing the AirCell. I could of strangled him, but he had good intentions. If you are looking for gains, a tuner or water/meth injection system will yield results.

There is a product for gas engines that are naturally aspirated, called the tornado, it does not work. Simple physics says it won't, You cannot take a device that produces a swirling motion with the incoming air and expect that motion to be maintained into the cylinder, there are just to many curves and turns it has to make before it even gets to the intake valve. And even if it did make it that far, there is no way it would continue thru the narrow gap that a valve leaves open on the intake stroke.
